Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, President of South Valley University, announced that the university has won two projects funded by the European Union as part of the university's continuous efforts to strengthen relations with the international community and establish partnerships with universities and international institutions.
He added that the first project is the establishment of a professional diploma in the plant clinic for graduates of faculties of science and agriculture in partnership with universities from the countries of Bulgaria, Italy and Hungary and the universities of the South Valley, Ain Shams, Alexandria and Sohag. The project starts in October 2019 and for 3 years
Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel Sadek, EU Projects Coordinator at the University, said that the second project is the internationalization of universities in the Mediterranean basin countries. . Arab universities from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon and European universities from Slovenia, France and Italy are participating in the project.
